So recently I was told that how much virtual memory I allocate can affect performance in games, i.e. too little allocated virtual memory could cause CTD's (Crash to desktop) which I sometimes experience. So I checked how much virtual memory my pc has set to allocate by default and it's 1280 MB, I'm just wondering if this is too little, keeping in mind I have 8 GB of RAM in my computer, so how much virtual memory should I allocate?
Thanks in advance :)

So do I even need to change it to 2 GB? Could I just keep it at what it currently is?

Keep it there, depending on the game you play though, might be more needed. Some games can chew through 6-7 gb. ram usage. Add that of windows' etc. and you'd actually need more than what i proposed.

Oooh you mean graphics memory, well that means you are using integrated graphics which for games are bad, you can change the settings in the bios to 512mb max or even maybe more but i suggest you getting a graphics card.

keza2001 why do you feel the need to add your comment when you don't even know what the topic is about?

I can't help it. It's stronger than me. But i did answer it for ya.

What? I'm not using integrated graphics, my graphics card is a GTX 970, please don't answer if you can't provide anything useful.
