virus detector slow

hi. i got comodo internet security as a free antivirus? its been two hours and it is only at 25% full scan. why is that damn thing scaning too slow.

because you have a large HDD? or the HDD is failing?

With what you posted, no way to tell. You could have a slow system, have many files on the drive, depends on what type of scan you started. Plus check some anti-virus program reviews, some programs are slower than others.
