I bought the VisionTech Each G2000 gaming headset and they just came in. I have plugged in the USB and both audio/input jacks, the lights work and the right headset works but the left one does now and there was no instruction manual. The amazon page said there was no need for instructions or drivers, the reviews said the same thing so I don't know why the left ear isn't working.

Does anyone know why it might not be working or how to fix it?

Thank you for any information you can give.

Solution
First thing I would do is leave the usb plugged in and plug the headphone jack (dont worry about the mic) into your cellphone and play some music. (The usb only powers the amp) If Left still isnt working you have a defective headphones.

If the headphones are ok then:
Doubleclick your speaker icon down by the time and open up the mixer like app and make sure all the balances are set in the middle. Next make sure speakers are setup in stereo or headphones mode. (as opposed to 5.1 or 7.1)

Then try using the rear audio & usb ports. If those work then something is wrong with your front audio port.
If they still dont work theres probably something wrong with your motherbd or soundcard, whichever you are using.
