I hate to say it, but this may be my next buy. Considering all the hardware packed into that one board for the price, and the fact that I'm already running one 5770 and (I think) I could crossfire it, it would be a great upgrade. Would take a light load off of the CPU at least. Now if only someone would put an Asus Xonar Essence onto a 6850 with this NIC, I could basically scrap half of my PC. That's wishful thinking right there, folks. 😀
[citation][nom]tipoo[/nom]So when one goes outdated, you have to toss both? No thanks.[/citation]
That's the worst logic I've ever seen. If the GPU gets outdated (OMFG! I can't play every game I own at max settings at 1080p! Life can't go on!), then you'll still have one heck of an NIC, and if you're buying this, chances are that you're already smart enough to see that there's more to a computer than bleeding-edge graphics performance. If the NIC becomes oudated, chances are the rest of your computer is junk anyway, because Internet can only get so fast - it's like a sound card; sound can only get so good, and we've hit both limits I think. What's holding you back more is your provider...
