My VisionTek Xtasy Ti 4200 fan died.
I've popped quite a few glued on heatsinks
off of video cards before....but Daaa-ummm
this one is really glued on. So I guess I'll
quit while I'm ahead before I ruin the card
and just leave the damn thing on.
Anyone know where I can get a replacement
fan....you know the one with the 3 screws
that fits inside the heatsink?

The alternative is to remove the fan and use a slot fan underneath the card.

The adhesive can be softened with some heat from a hairdryer. Some people go
the opposite route and stuff the card in the freezer to embrittle the
adhesive, but I'd worry about warpage.

I had a visiontek 4600 and it wasn't held on with adhesive. It was either a pad
or thermal compound, but I think it was compound.

Also I believe this fan will fit in the same place as your old one. You don't
even need to use the heatsink just unscrew the fan and attach it to your
heatsink.

I had that Geforce Thermaltake cooler on the 4600, but I took the fan off and
put it on a Albatron 4200. I replaced the fan on the Thermaltake Geforce copper
cooler with the original Visiontek 4600 fan. The holes line up just about
exactly.

Yep that looks like it.
I hear Thermaltake made the original fan for the Visionteks.
These are EBAY cheap.

That's probably why the holes line up exactly on the fans then.

From systems I have worked on the fans on all the heatsinks below seem to be
interchangable with each other.

Thermaltake Geforce Copper cooler
Albatron 4200 Cooler
Visiontek 4600

Keep in mind pre-Geforce4 cards had a different bolt pattern. Moreover, I
think modern day Radeons still use the "old" pattern. Having two standards
is not bad; even CPU mounting schemes are not as unified.
