Vista backup and restore - Cannot restore personal files backup to Flash drive

I made a backup of my personal Vista files to a USB Flash drive with the Back and Restore wizard; I then re-installed Vista Windows. When I tried to restore my backup I get the message that there are no backup files on the computer.

Perhaps you have to point it to you flash drive. Does it give you the option to browse?

The backup and restore program does not give an option after tell me there is no backup on the computer.

If you look at the data on the flash, can you see it's contents? maybe you have to copy it to where vista expects it to be.
