I really have no idea what actually happened but i dropped my phone and it smashed really hard. I've dropped it many many times before but this one was a lot harder...

Now everything seems fine; Touchscreen still works, screen isn't cracked etc. BUT there are vertical lines with different colors and horizontal with white & pink. When i press on top of them, the touchscreen still works and the lines dissapear / appear as i make little moves with my thumb.

Conclusion - I tried the usual turn-it-off-and-on-again but that didn't seem to work. Can i somehow fix it myself or do i need to give it to a guy who knows his job ? Or is it just not even worth giving the money for repair considering i have had the phone for 2 years now.

Some of the wires addressing the individual rows and columns of the screen were knocked loose by your drop, and are making intermittent contact. That's why the problem goes away when you press on it with your thumb - the pressure is making the wires make contact again.

If it's possible to open up the phone and access the screen directly, you may be able to more permanently affix these wires (whether with tape, glue, or just jammping a small piece of paper in there so they're constantly under pressure). I suspect though the phone can't be opened easily, and you'll have to take it in for repair where they'll tell you the screen needs to be replaced.
