Question Visual Bugs with new GPU? (RTX 3060Ti)

Hi, I upgraded my PC recently with a new CPU and GPU (Ryzen 5 5600X + RTX 3060Ti) and since then I've been getting some weird visual stuff happening. To start with - in CSGO everything looks a bit "sharper" than it did before, like edges are somewhat more pixelated and there is sometimes this very slight red outline on stuff, its hard to explain and its not that major but it annoys me quite a lot. When watching clips from the game it also happens but way worse and more noticeable, but it only happens on my main monitor and doesn't show up in screenshots (pictures from phone in imgur below), so I'm thinking it could be something to do with the monitor, but this didn't happen before. The only things that changed were the GPU and cable (was using DVI before now DP). These kind of visual bugs show up randomly in other places too but not consistently enough for me to capture them.

I made sure all my in-game settings are the exact same as they were before so its definitely not that, and I've messed with NVIDIA control panel settings a bit and nothing seems to fix it. I thought it could be something to do with scaling, since I play on stretched res, but not really sure. I'm guessing its something obvious that I've missed like drivers etc, if you have any suggestions for what it could be please let me know, I'm happy to provide whatever info would help.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

I upgraded my PC recently with a new CPU and GPU (Ryzen 5 5600X + RTX 3060Ti)
What were you working with prior to the upgrade?

MB: Asus STRIX B350-F
BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time?

PSU: Corsair CX550M
How old is the PSU in your build?

Hi thanks for the response :)

Previously I had a Ryzen 7 2700X + GTX 1060 6GB, made sure to update BIOS version to 6042 before upgrading to the 5600X. Can't remember exactly how old the PSU is, I'd say around 3 years.

Try using DDU to uninstall all GPU drivers, then manually reinstall with the latest drivers from Nvidia's support site, in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator. I'd think about getting a donor(borrow one) reliably built PSU that has at least 650W of power or more to power your build to see if the issue persists.

Finally got done with this, borrowed my friends RM750 power supply today and tested it out with a clean install of the newest driver and I'm still getting the same visual bugs :(

That's something people with faulty/failing GPU's tend to exhibit, happens with bad cables as well.

Can you go into the monitor properties for the afflicted panel and see if changing the refresh rate for said panel changes the issue? Speaking of which, what refresh rates are they all running at?

My main monitor (one with the issue) is 144hz while the others are both at 60hz, changed main to 60hz and doesn't seem to change anything. I have read a few sources of people having similar issues while using DP, changing to DVI and the issue being fixed which would line up with whats going on here, only problem is the card only has DP and HDMI ports.
