Vive does not want to connect to the pc

I have finally fixed my gaming rig, but I have a problem with connecting the vive to my gaming pc. I had the vive connected to my old pc and it was fine, but on the gaming rig it just does not want to connect. In SteamVR It would show all the icons grey, even though my base stations are linked correctly (They are green and display b and c), and the wires from the linkbox are connected correctly. Also yes my pc is way then capable or running vr.

Update:
When I "Reboot Headset" it says "Service Status: Connected!" but it is not connected.

Also my vive has red led lit up, so there should be power

The problem is going to be with the USB (most likely). Troubleshoot there.
If the USB is working, your PC should show the speakers and mic in Audio manager. If not, then root cause found.

Just had an issue where I yanked the USB cable from the link box and broke the internals.

I have attached it to different usbs, and the usbs work because my keyboard was connected to it.

Not sure what are you talking about but I do not see any new devices in audio manager.
