Question VLC Rips DVD, But There's No Audio!!!

I though it would be great to take my many short DVD skits and execrpts and put them all on a hard drive.

Did it all of yesterday and was impressed at my productivity!

I played them today and guess what? There's NO AUDIO!!!

I tried the many "fixes' from Google searches, but of course, they're not tom'sHARDWARE certified!

Open one of the videos in vlc and go to tools media information, go to the codec tab and tell us if there is any audio codec showing up at all, if you didn't capture any audio then there won't be any.

NEW ISSUE- I just downloaded the VLC update and the AUDIO issue is RESOLVED, but NOW the video is pixelated...

Is this a message saying I simply can't have it all?

Did you restart your PC after the update? Try that and open it again.
