Voltage too high? 6+ on 5V

I don't know why? Maybe the Motherboard sensor is malfunctioning? I already turned off the surge protector so that my PC can function otherwise I can't boot always on surge. I already changed the PSU. Even reformatted. and I'm currently using a brand new PSU. Anyway Other voltage seems stable right? Anyone can help me? http://imgur.com/a/LGU6w

Use a DVM to check the voltage, but if more than one PSU has the same issue, then I'd presume the sensor on the motherboard is faulty.

and how should i check it with DVM? I don't know how.

Connect the black probe to a black wire (ground) and the red probe to a red wire (+5 V). I doubt your PSUs don't provide +5 volts within the acceptable range.

Before going too panicky, try another way to read the voltage. SOME third-party utilities need custom calibration adjustments to give you the right readings.

Go into BIOS Setup and find the section (often Monitor or Health) where you can examine many operating parameters. Usually you will find several voltages there. What does it say about the 5 VDC supply coming to the mobo?

Best option is *always* manual meter over software. See if you can borrow one from a friend or local shop.
