Ok I am working on my churches computer. First the problem was the hard drive somehow went out randomly so I checked it by plugging it into another pc and it froze the computer. So I replaced the mb on the hard drive just so I could back up the data onto the new hard drive. Then when I went to plug in the vostro 260 again I got a blinking green light on the psu and a blinking amber light on the mobo itself. I used another psu from another pc just to see if it would boot the pc and it did. My question is what would cause it to do that all of a sudden when it powered on the pc no problem the day before? Is there anyway to save the psu that came out of it?

I tried a power supply of the same wattage and it was too big to fit the case so is there a specific kind or size I would need? I know its a mini-tower pc but would it be micro-atx or mini-atx or standard?
