[citation][nom]gpj[/nom]My son has been using our iPad Touches since he was about 18 or so months old (we just don't choose to plaster it over the internet like so many other nuts do .. I guess to feel important)... But at around the 24-26 month age he really started using it...[/citation]

Then your son aged 8 months in a week?

iZombies...

Wow that reaction results in -7, please go on so I can break a record. Sad people!

[citation][nom]JMcEntegart[/nom]I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not but no, fresh out for today.[/citation]That's the best part! Hah! Actually, It WAS sarcastic but not towards you. Cha-ching!

[citation][nom]babybeluga[/nom]I wonder how often this kid gets to go outside.=([/citation]Don't even. My father showered me with the Commodore 64 and Amiga 500 and I loved every minute of it except when he forced me to learn how to animate things in Deluxe Paint III. But, after I figured it out I wouldn't stop. What do you think is better... an iPad kids learning Application or that HUNK OF CRAP WASTE OF PLASTIC CHEESY DOLL HOUSE? :)

No offense to the Doll House lovers! I just hate seeing all those cheesy a$$ toys at Walmart parents get for their kids that smell like toxic waste.

I got the same thing the other day. I guess everyone wants to see a "bad ass" comment if it's gonna be first. :)

I guess to feel important)... But at around the 24-26 month age he really started using it. He navigates around going from videos to the apps we've installed for him (he can even find the same apps on the different touches despite being in different places). He is surprisingly gentle with it despite being a bruiser with so many other toys. I'm not an apple fanboy, but I must say their iphone/touch/ipad interface is exceptional.[/citation]

A child of that age doesn't deserve such an expensive device from his parents. I bought my iPod Touch with my own money when I was 13.

I agree with you, just Apple hype irks me, not their products. They really increase the level of competition, which is always good for us consumers. Just 4 years ago, most manufacturers were lazy, and the laptop lineup was just ugly and also expensive ( I got a $1600 Dell laptop for a core duo 1.8ghz and it wasnt even top of the line, now i can get a top of the line PC laptop for much less).

It's his ipod touch, he just let his son playing around with it, what's wrong with that? Just like 2 year old girls playing around with their mothers' make up.

Sorry, I misread that. It looked like they had bought their 18 month old son a brand new ipod touch. I didn't notice that it was the parent's ipod, which i perfectly fine since the child would obviously be supervised :)

Also, if Tom's keeps only posting maxiPad news and absolutley nothing about all the soon-to-be-released Android tablets, then I'll have to move to another tech site.

shit you got screwed over man, I don't think that had anything to do with the lack of competition....

Us gurus and developers look at this technology and UI design as hyper spaz (awesome) simple and easy to use for the consumer group and in the end result we have made something for a 2 year old(AKA the younger generation AGAIN!).btw She is gona be a freaking good gamer someday.

If you read the new article about "People who don't want to read about Apple's products" you'll see that the commenter's on this site make up about 1% of the total readers via Google Analytics. You were saying?

ok i had to look at this one after reading abut what tom's like to report abut, but i like this one that kid is going to be very smart.

It's funny how when she ran that animal app it showed a drawing of a lion and there was a similar one on the couch behind her...kinda funny

Back on topic, when is this gonna end? I mean all the iPad news, it's getting really boring.
