Well, I am having some problems with setting up a VPN on Win2k pro.

I went to Settings > Network and Dial-up connections > Make a new connection = ENTER

I keep getting a window that says " Location Information" and I have to enter area code and dial number but I have cable. So I have cancel it about 3 times since it keeps poping back up. Now, I am at Network Conection Wizard = ENTER

Next, "Connection Type"
I want to select "Connect to a private network through the Internet" but it is grayed out and my only options are : "Accept incomming connections" or "Dial up to the Internet"

So my only choice is to select "Accept incomming connections" but it doesnt give me an ip address where as to the "Connect to a private network through the Internet" would want me to enter so I can allow this person to connect to me PC.

It just shows an Icon called "Incomming connection" and I am baffled.

Was it because I didnt fill out the Location information in the first place?
