I want to buy a hard drive but I am confused by all the options. I want to buy the one that will be best for VR gaming.

5830k I-7
1080 graphic
32gb ram

Solution
I put all my games on a SSD just because I can afford to and I like the quicker load/cut screen times.
Depending on your budget get the WD black if you can afford the extra 15 bucks or so over the blue drive either will work just fine.
WD is also making a WD blue SSD that I have not used or seen any professional reviews on.
If you wish to load everything on a SSD their no reason to get a expensive m.2 or something like the Samsung 850 Pro I would avoid the Kingston V300.

EDIT found one from AnandTech not a bad looking drive in that price range.

Hi there Trinket the cat,

I don't really think anyone would be able to give you the right answer to which is the best drive out there. :)

First of all, you've got to be aware that only the loading times are affected by the drive's performance, not the overall gaming performance. Also, keep in mind that currently, VR games are not that heavy/demanding (do not have many levels, etc.), when it comes to storage.

As a WD rep, I can comment only on Western Digital HDDs. If you want to, you can take a look at WD Black: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=7NP4YU
It is a premium, performance oriented product with 5 years of limited warranty.

Let me know in case you have some more questions,
