[SOLVED] VRAM not increasing. Why is this happening and what can i do to increase it?

So I have a Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 with 8gb RAM and 1gb dedicated to VRAM. I have tried going into BIOs and putting the setting of "DVMT Pre-Allocated" up to 512, and it doesn't work. I have used registry editor, and it doesn't work. I have went to the System Control Panel, went Advanced Settings, then Advanced, then into Performance, and then went to Advanced again. There, I clicked on Virtual Memory took off the check in box for auto managing, set intial size 4000 and Max. to 6000. I don't know what to do.

Auto setting dynamically allocates. Doing it manually yourself isn't going to make HD4600 IGP perform great.

Why do you want to increase it? And if you have 8 and you're trying to allocate 6, you learn nothing for Windows.
