I tried to follow the following links but my pc doesnt even boot past the bios screen and keeps crashing on its own then i have to reset to default values to make it run again
I have two different ddr3 rams 1xgskill ripjaw 4gb & 1 x samsung 2gb could this be a issue.

That's not really an overclocking set up, so it would be even more difficult for a beginner.

You need to increase BCLK, but at the same time adjust your CPU Ratio, DRAM Ratio, CPU VCore, DRAM Voltage, and that's just to start.

With default settings as is right now, is the system stable with the two types of RAM installed?

yes it is working well on windows 8.1 with radeon 6850 ,btw i tried the following for overclocking and failed many times 🙁

Base Clock of 205MHz
multiplier set to 20x
V Core 1.35V
VTT to 1.37V
pch core 1.14V
PLL 1.9V
kept dram to default

where am i going wrong?? btw I am always ready to learn ! :)

RAM settings should be default. Your memory timings are not 7-7-7-24, so the system will not work if you set it like that.

QPI/VTT does not need to be 1.37V

Set all those back to default or AUTO and try again.

You need to leave DRAM to AUTO and adjust CPU values ONLY. Those pictures show many changes for DRAM that do not apply to your computer. Most likely why you have 0 luck.

Just tried as u said but still no luck , this is all that i changed

Base Clock of 200MHz
multiplier set to 20x
SPD to auto
V Core 1.35V
VTT / QPI to auto
pch core 1.14V
PLL 1.9V
disabled :- smart fan control , intel turbo tech , CIE , EIST func , thermal monitor , c3-c6-c7 state ,

Here are the pics of my pc bios with default settings btw i think the samsung 2gb is not being detected by the bios but it shows in cpu z .

Just tried the setting as per your advise but still no luck....Btw i tried once by increasing the BCLK from 133mhz to 140mhz and achieved 2.8ghz without pc crashing with CPU clock ratio 20x

uptill now
with ratio 16x i could only reach bclk of 160mhz
with ratio 20x i could only reach bclk of 155mhz
But i noticed after the pc crashes on higher settings , it doessnt boot past the bios screen until i switch off my pc for 10-15min and retry to enter bios and reset the values.

Sorry, I forgot to mention you need to set System Memory Multiplier to 6X while doing the previous tests. As you increase CPU BCLK, it overclocks multiple frequencies so you need to make sure values are within what your hardware is capable of.

For any power saving options, you should disable them.

CPU BCLK = 160 mhz , kept System Memory Multiplier to 6X and disabled :- smart fan control , intel turbo tech , CIE , EIST func , thermal monitor , c3-c6-c7 state ,

So the pc booted up at 160mhz then after a restart it crashed btw my bois power management screenshot is there anything to disable?
