So i'm wanting to build a computer and purchase all parts off of newegg. here is a link to the pc i'm wanting to build. I do not need a keyboard, mouse or monitor. Just the case and everything inside. i'm trying to stay under not including shipping. if any of you can pick this apart and make any suggestions i'd be greatly appreciative. Seagate...
This one is better balanced without an SSD, you could always add one later if you wanted, or buy an SSD instead and reuse a HDD for now. I swapped the case to the Elite version which has Front USB 3.0, swap it back and save $16 if that doesn't worry you.

*ALSO* I made sure that this RAM would work on the motherboard. There is a support list on the ASUS website, make sure you run every choice of RAM by it before you buy. This one is definitely on there though. Good luck!

Wow I really expected more from people posting on Toms. Im so tired of reading all the gpu hype its really sickening. I build more than 10 gaming p.c.'s every month. Most of which are around 800.00 and I alwaysnputban ssd in for the os. They are not a luxury, that was just retarded, and whoever said you barely get any performance and inly on the os and some games.... Well you obviously have no idea whatsoever what you are talking abiutnperiod at all and Toms needs to screen people who post. Im done with this thread I could have a more intellegent conversation with my 3 year old. He obviously umderstands this a little better than most of you. Hey maybe I should save all my money, go buy a cheap chassis, a low end phenom, a 1 tb caveman hard drive...and then spend 600 on a gpu. Ill he so cool and then every on will like me...and maybe i could bottleneck my low end processor so my 600 gpu performs like the ti I was going to get in the 1st place, until a bunch of people posted bigger gpu bigger gpu and you will be so cool like me and now im getting the same performance if not worse cause my processor cannot handle the firemans hose water coming through a straw morons.. Holy sh*t i hope there are smarter people in here...

The worst part about it is he will probably listen to you and waste his money and you have no idea at all what you are saying....seriously stopbit with the bigger gpu crap and dont let this guy waste his money. I bet your the people that think you need two titans to play crysis 3. so retarded... Lmao..

Nice processor pick. Dont waste money on cooler master stock amd fan heatsink just fine up to 4.5 ghz with good case airflow.

I guess it's his choice whether he wants an aftermarket cooler or not. True, the stock heatsink will do fine up until he wants to overclock. I really wouldn't be overclocking at all without some sort of aftermarket cooler, be it air or water. With the 7870 I suggested that because I own it and I know that it's great. The cooling especially. Sapphire would be my choice after the Gigabyte one and it is still a great card. The Gigabyte one gets between 4C and 7C better cooling which is minor I know, but I just prefer it. I suppose with the case I suggested the Sapphire one might be better since it directs air towards the back of the case rather than back into it. My case does a great job on dissipating heat so it's not an issue for me.

youre just trying to get offended haha. i never said theres no performance jump with an ssd. and i do know exactly what im talking about. and no one cares how many systems you build daily/weekly/monthly. get off of that.

what we're trying to do is get this guy a BALANCED system. we never said buy a "phenom, athlon...blah blah blah...and a 600 dollar card" haha. ssd is exactly what i said it is. luxury. not retarded, just think about it (i assume you'll have trouble doing that). it is something that is NOT necessary to have a pc, and a high performance gaming pc. a gpu directly affects a gaming pc. an ssd is not something a gaming pc NEEDS to operate.

looks like youre wasting about 10 peoples' money every month
