Want to buy a laptop that is compatible/works with TAILS

Ive included the requiremenets of TAILS there, my worry is that buying a new/wrong laptop would mess things up. I want a laptop, new or second hand that fits those requiremenets.

I dont really have a budget. Preferably Id like higher than 2 GB, but this is not a gaming machine at all.

The requirements are very minimal. As it says any hardware from the last 10 years will work. It probably has very basic drivers, so WIFI, touchpad, sound, other advanced hardware may not be supported. Is your plan to use TAILS as your primary usage?

I have a 10+ year old low end Tosh laptop that boots into TAILS no problem.

Aside from TAILS as the OS, what do you plan to do with it?

I have friends in China (among other countries) who are being massively misled by the govt and media as to the extent of the virus, I wanted the darkweb as a means of more securely communicaing
