It is a bit hard to give you options without the following ,
The amount you want to spend ( Your Budget )
What the computer will be used for ( Just everyday use ,surfing the net , high end gaming , rendering, audio work etc etc )
weather he wants a laptop or desktop
what addons he needs ( Printer , wireless devices etc etc )
you need to be a bit more specific
