Hi,

I have a work computer HP EliteDesk 800G1 SFF. along with that I have two HP Pro Display P221. I want to connect these two displays from the same CPU and want to extend my display (not mirrored one).
problem is: CPU has only 1 VGA port not any DVI port. and both the display contains 1 VGA and 1 DVI port.
I have purchased a VGI Splitter but it does not help me as it is only doing the mirror image of one desktop to another but I need the extended display.

Can anyone please help me with this, how to connect these two displays and extend the desktop? which connector need to be purchased?

What he said ^^^. Looks like your PC already has a separate graphics card. Google "displayport" and look at the back of your system to see if you indeed have those video...
If you're referring to this machine http://www.hp.com/hpinfo/newsroom/press_kits/2013/HPDiscover2013/HPEliteDesk800_datasheet.pdf

It looks like it also has two displayport connections on it (which would be preferable to use over the VGA connection).

The above cable would let you use one of those displayport connections and connect straight to the second monitor. If you have the money I'd also recommend getting a second one and using both displayport outputs instead of using the VGA.

Your GPU must have more than one output (VGA, DVI, HDMI, or Display Port) so you can hook each monitor up to one of said ports.

OP, you do not hook up your monitors to your CPU. Your CPU is your processor. You can only hook up your monitor to your GPU or your Motherboard (onboard graphics). From what your original post says, if you only have one output (VGA) then to my knowledge your are out of luck. someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but you will need to buy a GPU that has at least 2 separate outputs.
