Want to know if my VG 248 Gaming monitor is capable with PC

Hi! So I recently received this monitor and to my surprise it did not have a VGA port that my previous monitor had. So, instead of VGA connection, I started using HDMI connection. However, I read that HDMI connection is not good enough to display the 144HZ capability of the monitor(my graphics card is Intel Core i5).

The thing about my PC is, yes DVI cables came with the monitor but my PC does not have a DVI port or Display Port. Is there any adapters or any conversions avalible to connect my monitor to have it be 144 HZ? I am not sure which adapter to get.

I recently found out that there is a specific kind of adapter needed for conversion. So which one should I get? DVI to VGA or VGA to DVI? Or perhaps a DVI to HDMI or HDMI to DVI? Thanks!

(my graphics card is Intel Core i5).
That is not a graphics card but built in graphics.
If you have no real video card then your not going to play any games at 144hz so it don't matter.
It depends on what version of HDMI you have if it can run 1080p @ 144Hz.
