I have a DDR4 RAM module branded SK Hynix running at default 2666mhz that I want to overclock to 3200mhz. I have an Asus A520M-K motherboard running a ryzen 5600g and integrated graphics and there was no docp option but when I selected the 3200mhz option I was able to boot into windows and played some games but am still concerned about the longevity of it. Is it safe?

What games are we talking about here? What resolution are you gaming at?

Is it safe?
So long as you're on the latest BIOS version for your motherboard, have optimal airflow in your case and you've left all timings to AUTO in BIOS, then you shouldn't face any instability issues.

IMHO, you should've looked into a DDR4-3600MHz dual channel ram kit for your platform so all you needed to do was enable X.M.P/D.O.C.P. Since you're on an APU, latency doesn't matter for your ram kit, only the frequency though your ram will degrade over long exposures to gaming off the APU. If you're looking to game for long hours at 1080p, then get a discrete GPU and a tight latencied DDR4-3600MHz dual channel ram kit to get the most out of your platform.

My 2 cents.

valorant at 1680x1050 (native for my monitor)

I only changed the "Memory Frequency" option on the bios to DDR4-3200. I wanted to use the most with what I have since I got my PC prebuilt for a relatively low price, so that means looking into overclocking the base 2666mhz ram into 3200mhz
