I currently have an MSI GTX 1080 Sea Hawk AIO and want to convert it to my new custom loop system. Will just any GTX 1080 waterblock work with my card?

So I was looking at the board for my card in a video and this is what it looks like.

In the video buddy mentions that the board looks like a founder's card. So I checked out the block for that card and on the EK site this is the PCB that the Founder's block fits.

They look pretty similar, don't they? Not only the bolt pattern. But the caps, mosfets and the chokes too.

So it's looking like the block for the founder's card might work for mine.

Thoughts??

Nice find. If I had to guess, I'd say it is a founder's edition they used. I noticed they list the 1080 Ti version of the Sea Hawk and confirm that IT uses the founder's edition so maybe they did for the 1080 as well.

Still, I'd hit up EK directly and confirm. Just to be sure.

I probably will. But I'm assuming that they're just going to check their database which won't have my card listed and tell me that it won't fit.

UPDATE: E-mailed support. Waiting for reply.
