Want to Upgrade My PC. Please Guide !!

Hello presently i have a computer, Compaq Presario CQ3370IX. And want to upgrade my cpu. but it can't be upgraded becuase my motherboard i think cannot support i5 and above 4 gb ram 🙁

So i am thinking to buy motherboard, extra ram and processor only in order to upgrade my pc. Harddisk, 3 gb ram, graphic card (ati hd 6450), dvd writer i will use from my present PC, so want to know that can i use this ?

Also want to know that do i have to buy cpu cabinet also ? or i can use present one ?

Please guide me, i am very much confused. I am planning to buy tomorrow !!

If you are willing to spend above 8200 INR for the PSU then i would recommend the seasonic ss 650 priced at 8900 INR.

like : Gigabyte GA Z97x-UD3H-BK ??

If yes ! ,..if i can put ddr5 graphic card on this mobo then tell the best cheap graphic card also.

And is Gigabyte GA Z97x-UD3H-BK motherboard can be used for hardcore gaming ??

Yes you can put DDR5 GPU on any motherboard for the hard core gaming part motherboard has nothing to do with gaming or performance of the PC but when you OC the processor then a good board helps in high OC without any problem.
