Question Wanted to know if my motherboard MSI X79A-GD45 is compatible with graphic card MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GT OC.

I wanted to know if i had to also upgrade my motherboard, i am an average gamer. So i just want this to play doom 2016, Resident evil 2 etc... on normal graphics without lagging. Thank you for your answers .
