Warhorse question

I was wondering, how much damage would a Light, or heavy warhorse do
when trampling someone?.

sometimes i like to think of a war horse as a melee weapon like a sword to
make it simple. try 1d8 for a strike with front hooves, 1d10 for a strike
with rear and 3d8 for a trample.

keep in mind that a trampling horse is left very open to attack to the
belly. I wise creature might permanently disable a war horse if a PC choose
to use his mount in that way.
