Hey so I couldn't really explain very well what the problem is in the title.
I overclocked my CPU (Specs in sig) from 3.2GHz to 3.8GHz just buy bumping up the multiplier. It has been running stable for over a week - stress test with prime for a few hours and no problems and temp was only 53 max... Anyway, thought I'd bump up the FSB to 205 and then I get the awful message - "Warning! System now in safe mode! Please Re-Setting CPU Frequency in CMOS"
So I went in DIDN'T change any settings (INCLUDING the FSB), saved and restarted the computer and wallah, it started without the message, after shutting it down (correctly) I come back this morning to start up my new 3.9GHz CPU and I get the same awful message again! "Warning! System is now in blah blah blah!"
If this has anything to do with anything I have a 600W PSU but not sure on the make/model.
If you have any idea or experience then please drop a response, it always helps!
Thanks in advanced!
