Question Was I killing my ram?

So, I realized that my ram was 2400mhz rated and I thought I bought 3000mhz ram. I realized many months later that it 2400mhz rated. I always just went into bios and switched my memory frequency to 3000mhz and kept voltage at auto. Do you think the auto voltage was killing my ram?

What voltage did it set?
If it is set to 1.35V then it is probably fine.

I dont know what voltage was being set

Ive upgraded multiple times.

The CPUS ive owned: Ryzen 2600x, i5 9600k
The mobos ive owned: asrock b450 pro4,b350 tomahawk, and z390 aorus pro wifi
RAM: g.skill aegis 2400mhz 16gb ram

If the memory still works, you didn’t “kill” it!
But the proper way to set the memory speed is by enabling the XMP Profile #1.
