I wonder if the AI boom is going to get gated by the energy limit.

Can have all advancing ai tech you want but with more and more demand they will outpace the supply of power to run them all & getting new power sources sint fast nor cheap.

I wonder if the AI boom is going to be gated by lack of interest by the public.
If you don't know much about it you would probably think it was just one of those buzzword fads that are in the news and then fade away because they never lived up to the "life changing" hype.
Even if you do know about it, what is it really going to offer that people want?

Maybe gov and big data like it for snooping, but I don't have time or desire to snoop.
