watchdogs starts lagging when gpu usage is 99%

i have asus gtx 960 strix oc and i3 4150. I overclocked my gpu by increasing core clock +80 and memory speed +400. It heats upto 71°C while playing watchdogs at ultra settings but texture is high, i get 30fps min and avg of 35-45 but as gpu usage get 99% game starts lagging and fps drops to 10-20 fps. I have 6gb ram 1333mhz.

why this problem is occurring....? i lowered AA to temporial SMAA but problem continue

have you tried running game on STOCK settings? If you haven't,try to run it on stock and report back to this thread.

Well,that's very interesting. I have same GPU (Asus 960 STRIX OC edition),but I haven't tried to Overclock it. Also,as CPU I have i5 4690k,but I don't think that it would be your CPU fault.

Please,answer all question I've listed below.

- When was last time you maitenance'd your PC? (Re-apply TIM,cleaning out form dust). How old is your current setup?
- Can you monitor your idle and load temperatures with program called " hwmonitor "?

i bought gpu about one month ago and cpu and mobo 2 days ago so i don't think it needs cleaning, did it?

give me some time to monitor my idle and load temperature. it can take some hours becauae i am currently out of my home. that's why.

my min temp is 31°C and max is 71°C on stock settings(Non gaming mode). what to do now.. .?

sorry,I was really busy and I had no chance to answer you.

Are you sure,that you applied CPU cooler correctly? Sometimes,people doesn't really apply it correctly,even if it looks fine.
