water cooling parts storage

What I wanted to know is this:

So I have a Enermax Neo changer pump res combo, a XSPC RX 240 rad and a nickel plated copper fin CPU block.

I have tested the components a few times with coolant, and then flushed them with de ionized water when I was done... then I left them out to dry...

Is there anything more I could really have done to "store" them? What do you do if the parts aren't going to be in use for a month?

Also: Is it better to leave coolant to dry out in your parts, or distilled/deionized water? I was thinking water... hence I thought coolant could gum up.

Solution
Based on some experiences in a "previous life" I would simply clean and flush the components with as pure as water as possible.

And you apparently have done that part already.

Blow out and let dry.

Package up with some water/moisture absorbent packs. Silica gel.

Or plain rice for that matter while ensuring that rice grains cannot get into things.

Think about how the pump combo was delivered. That is how you should package and store it.

For the most part if you truly expect only a month or so of storage (excluding some extreme circumstances) then just clean and dry should do it.

Well when I said a month, I guess I meant it HAS been stored for a month. I took some compressed air and carefully blew out my CPU block, shook the water out of the radiator as much as I could, and well basically just let them pump/res dry with primochill PC base (deionized water) used last on the parts.
I am glad to know I did the right thing! I started to get worried after I was getting ready to send my third Thermaltake view 71 back for RMA...

There is a serious shipping/packaging issue with those cases... bought one on 9/1 just now being able to build in one. BE WARNED! Thanks for the timely response.
