Morning, All,

OK, other than noise, is there any advantage to using PWM for variable pump speed rather than simply running at 100% all the time? The pump will accept PWM speed control, but why bother with it?

TIA,
Larry

Unfortunately I am not familiar with that pump, but generally speaking you always plug your pump into a pump outlet on your motherboard (or PSU) and leave it at 100%.
Depends all on the make and brand of the liquid cooler. If it is an AIO, typically you always always leave it at 100% (in the case of say the H100i V2, you can change the pump speed in software, but the power coming thru the PWM header must be at max speed all the time because it lowers and increases the RPM of the pump thru Corsair Link and not the motherboard).
