Question Water Pump Fault?

Hi All,

I am experiencing a weird random interval 'groaning' like noise from my PC, which appears to come from my AIO cooling radiator.

I am thinking its the water pump that might be faulty, or dust is built up in the fans?

I can see a lot of dust on radiator, best to take it out, take fans off and clean everything nicely. Might as well change paste while you are at it.

Sounds like fan blades touching metal. Try adjusting the fan rpm while idle and see if there is a difference.

I had this happen a couple of time.

Try placing rubber washer (or gasket or grommet) between fan and Water block. (As your fans are obviously pull through by the dust. Inside ->Radiator -> Fan -> Exhaust)

I thought I had worked out the issue with the below...

A FAN running at 80% with 0 RPM, however i disabled it and the noise persisted...

So to confirm, blow out didnt change anything.

The PC is only 6 months old so there wasn't a huge about of dust build up.

Looks to me like it may just be a pump fault...
