Hey guys, about 2 weeks ago, I accidentally spilled water into my gaming rig. About two minutes after the spill (I was shocked about the spill, panicked, and forgot to shut it off) the entire computer simply powered off. After 2 days of drying, I tried to power it on and it would turn on for about 1/10th of a second, to just turn off again. Anyways, after waiting two weeks & ordering a new motherboard after reading a ton of threads with the same problem, the problem still avails - except this time if the 8 pin connector is not connected, the fans on my h100i and gpu will start spinning like it would normally. I am at a loss as to why a new motherboard would not help it, and what other parts would possibly be broken before I go buy new parts, especially because I don't have the budget to do that right now. I have also gone through that no post/video sticky as well as have tried the paper click thing on the 24 pin connector. Have also resat CPU about 4 times during the process so taking it out and putting it back in will unfortunately not help me here. Let me know if anything else is needed to be descriped - thanks.
