Waterblock won’t fit gtx 770

Can’t place gtx 770 waterblock because of tall capacitors.
What’s that about? (First water cooling build)
It’s a gigabyte gtx 770 4gb

I would imagine it is a non-reference PCB board. This means the board layout or components are different from the Nvidia reference manufacturing process for the GPU.

It avoids covering much outside the chip itself for this reason specifically. Its a Universal block.

If it is the Gigabyte Windforce 4GB, it doesn't look to be reference PCB. https://www.ekwb.com/configurator

This would be one main reason why a full cover block doesn't fit this card, unless it specifically is made to fit the custom PCB.
