yes it will fit. they do in fact have the same layout as far as i can tell, with only a very slight variation in power delivery which won't affect the waterblock fit....you must have a bad airflow case if you are hitting temps that hight
if you wanna try cheaper solutions first,
1. replace the thermal paste. This card usually has good paste application, but it can't hurt to get some high quality stuff for $7
2. tighten the cooler. This card does quite commonly come out of the box with a slightly loose cooler. even a half rotation of all the screws will easily reduce temps by 5 degrees c if it wasnt tight enough to begin with
3. add either an intake on the bottom if possible, or an intake on the side panel (of course this depends on your case)

I have a Fractal Design Arc Midi R2 case with this setup.

Intake: two 140mm front, one 140mm bottom, both at 12v
Exhaust: two 140mm top at 600rpm
Fans are three that came with the case and two Corsair AF140
Also have H80i as my CPU cooler so I think this gives me a positive air flow upwards.

Do you think I will void the warranty if I remove the cooler and put MX-4 on it?
