Watercooling for 4k Gaming Setup

Hello people of Tom's Hardware! I recently (less than a week ago built a new PC) To cooler the i7-4790k (going to overclock) I got a Corsair H110i GT when I got the cooler it was defective and did not power on so I sent it back to Corsair and they sent a new one when I opened the new one it was defective.... So I was just about ready to send it back when I sat down to put some thought into it during my thinking I thought a custom loop should be added to my build seeing as though I am trying to push to 4k gaming because I got a new Samsung 4k Monitor for Christmas. So I was wondering if you guys/girls can send me a list of parts needed for watercooling my budget is just round about $200 but if there is a cheaper component I can get away with please link it. I need to use parts that will remain sturdy during transportation in a car and to easily be able to add a second graphics card without tons and tons of work.

Optical Drive: A Samsung Optical Drive I had from another

Storage: I have 1 SSD In the included SSD Bracket in the back and 2 hard drives in the bottom drive cage I took out the top one these also came from another PC

It's most likely not the water cooler that is faulty. The water cooler should not be the reason that a system is powering on. It might be your ram or that your power supply doesn't have enough power to power the entire system.

$200 is insufficient to build a water cooling loop. If you hadn't bought the GFX card already this would have been very easy.

-A water block and back plate for the Asus card w/ reference cooler should run about $150.

-Two barbed fittings w/ clamps should run about $12, replacement cooling concentrate about $5

I'd buy a 2nd radiator when you add the 2nd GFX card.

You do know for a 4K gaming setup you are going to need a wee bit more... First and foremost, as JackNaylorPE mentioned a little more then $200 in water.

I love the Enthroo Primo, I owned 2. Still kept 1.

If you don't have a minimum in 3k--4K to spend stop chasing.

CNET has a nice article on 4K gaming, and really take in what they are saying.

I run a really stupid system, and people never believe till they see it, and I will not run 4K, it's just not worth it.

The stupid shit is I can run 4k on a 32" monitor, but it cost way too much so far. Between the monitor needed for gaming speed and GPU processing puts 90% of people out of the game. AND to tell the truth you may not notice it, as 95% of games are made at 1080p and below on the market, and the top 10% of games 1% are made at a 60 rate, it just does not pay off.

Maybe next year or the reality is in 2017 we may see a main stream 4K... Till then man, max out for 1080p...

If you can run 3 monitors at 2560x1440 then just stop chasing the dragon... Unless you $4--6K depending on monitor size matters to you???

That's the 1st thing we agree on .... I have always kept at least 3 cases on my recommend list at $225, $150 and 4100 price ranges but now just one in each.... I have an Enthoo Primo, Son No. 2 the Enthoo Luxe and wifey has the Enthoo Pro ....there's just so many differences between those and the next best thing, that it's hard to recommend anything else, especially for WC builds.

The 2nd thing we agree on is that 4k gaming is not as yet ready for prime time. Twin 970s doesn't cut it and they outperform the Titan X..... I think we'll begin to ease into 4k gaming around XMas 2016. The Primo with a XT45-420 on top and a UT60-280 on bottom is a excellent setup for twin 970s and OC'd 4790k.

They did on that build. I am plagued with the BIOS clcok Freeze bug which has forced me to give up any additional attempts at trying new OC settings. When BIOS clock freezes, Windows update can screw OS, and backup programs screw everything up.... if I boot on May 28, I'll have files dated up to June 4 after a week.... reboot and newer files are dated May 28 again.
