My son tried to clean his monitor with ammonia based window cleaner. The bottom is distorted maybe a half inch. Its just enough to mess up the whole monitor.

Can the image produced be shorted on the bottom and lengthened at the top some way to compensate for the bottom damage?

Its a huge 17 inch screen. I sure would like to rescue it if I can.

Thanks ahead of time for any ideas.
