It is two types of hard drives combined into one, essentially the meaning of "hybrid." Its implementation maybe different from the Seagate's, but it is still a hybrid.

 

They are combined into 1 physical unit, yes, but they are not combined in such a way where they work together, therefor not a hybrid. Instead, it's a "dual drive". "Dual" meaning 2 in 1.
 


Still means hybrid. As I said, its implementation method does not matter, as long as there are two types in one. Same thing goes with hybrid vehicles. There are many types, but all are referred to as hybrid just because there are two methods of energy.
