Hi

Bought a WD Black SN750 NVME 1TB drive and succesfully installed Windows 8.1 on it, while Windows detects and sees the drive the WD Dashboard doesn’t seem to work properly, as you can see it says Life Remaining, Temperature and S.M.A.R.T are not supported? What’s going on? It’s the latest 2.5.0.0 version too.

Hope someone can help, not happy about spending £200.00 on a drive and being worried about the official software not bothering to detect it correctly.

My laptop is a MSI GS73VR 7RF Stealth Pro
i7-7700HQ
GTX 1060
16GB RAM
1TB WD Black SN750 NVME

Did you install all drivers? Because of Windows 8.1 it may have compatibility issues.

Release notes for 2.5.0.0:
Known Issues: - Gaming Mode is not available on a Win7 or Win8.1 In-box driver. This is a driver limitation and should be resolved with the installation of your chipset PCIe/NVMe driver - NVMe devices under iRST 16.x driver do not support SMART

Try the version 2.4.0.0
