Question WD elements portable failed, help with WD data lifeguard

Drive files aren't readable, I tried installing WD data lifeguard and it shows the disk into the logical disk category and not in the physical thus I can't do anything nor diagnose it. Is there someone with some ideas ? I just want to save the files.

What specific error messages or pop up windows, if any, are presented when file reads fail?

Have you tried other known working USB ports and connection cables?

Have you tried the drive on another computer?

What do you see if you open Disk Management? Are you able to post the screen?
