WD External Harddisk data recovery

I am using the Parted Magic for the data recovery but the problem is that the sub folder contents is not at visible but the disk is showing that it contains 300GB of data .

As far as to my knowledge it seems like that harddisk has changed to RAW format.

Kindly help me out in getting the content from harddisk recovered

As it is RAW, you can try cloning the drive and work on the clone. You can start with writing chkdsk L: /f(L being the drive letter) in the Command Prompt. You should clone it first as this may result in some data loss.

The drive is not accessable through command prompt of windows.

I found a new Solution iCare Recovery but the problem is it is taking a lot of time in the recovery of the data i calculated it out to be around 1month at the rate the files are searched

It sounds like your drive may be on its last legs. You should clone it, sector by sector, using a tool such as ddrescue.

However, to prepare your drive for cloning, you should apply the "slow fix" in the following threads:

That said, I would first examine the drive's SMART report using a tool such as CrystalDiskInfo.

I will try this.
But still I doubt that Hard disk is not in last stage because with iCare Recovery Software I could see a list of files though the process is very slow Recovering 5GB per 4.5 hours but is recovering it.

The SMART drive report cannot be used because drive in RAW format and that's why it cannot be detected by it.

Instead of CrystalDiskInfo, try HD Sentinel. The "raw" file system is unrelated to the drive's SMART reporting.
