WD My Book eSATA Driver Problem

Recently picked up a Western Digital (WD) 500 GB My Book. The USB and Firewire connections work fine but not the eSATA connection. WD confirmed I have a driver problem but offered no solutions. I'm running Windows XP Professional x64 Edition as my OS. Any recommendations on how to obtain the correct driver?

I had the same problem so this is what i did: Uninstall the mybook from device manager, disconnect the drive then reconnect it and see if windows gets it right, if not looks like you may have alot of googleing to do

with my drivers/hardware I have to boot with the device connected so the bios sees it.. then windows will see it.

not sure if its relevant to your problem.
