WD Passport is good . . .

Solution
Hi there Lenore7283,

Sorry that you are facing some issues with your WD drive. :(

Is this a new drive, or you've been using it for a while and you have data stored over there?

If it is the first one, then you just need to go to Disk Management, Initialize and Partition & Format the drive: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=j7vL4Y

If you have some data stored on the drive, then you can go to Disk Management and see how does it appear over there. In case it has some damaged partitions and/or file system, you can use some data recovery software.

Let me know how this goes,
D_Know_WD :)
