Question WD5000AAKS 500 GB vs WD5000AAKX

My 2011 WD5000AAKS 500 GB drive failed, most likely it was the controller, since the supply voltage sequence was broken when using an external box. Can I install a controller from the WD5000AAKX drive to save my data?

Does it still spin up or not?
usually in such cases one or both tvs diodes 5V and 12V are faulty.

When I use this unfortunate external box, the disk spins, and in the laptop hardware manager I see the disk device “WDC WD50 00AAKS-00V0A0 SCSI Disc Device”. However, Disc Management doesn't have it.
But when I connect it as an additional drive in the PC, the power supply goes into protection, probably at 12V, since the PC coolers rotate slowly and the power supply periodically restarts.

seems more like a physical problem, maybe the head can't move to its position

Well, tomorrow it will be possible to check this disk in its normal place - this is the second disk on a work PC, by the way, the range of problems is very wide, there may not be enough space or time.
