Can't delete partition , I'm trying to install Windows 10 with a USB because my Toshiba laptop won't boot . I can only use CMD since my laptop wont boot . Any help ?

Not entirely sure of what you're doing, but you can't delete the Windows partition from te Windows commandline.

Are you booting from your Win 10 DVD or USB?

OK, and where exactly is this failing? Are you trying to do a reinstall of the OS?

So where is it failing?

During the install, when it asks 'where', select Custom.
You should be presented with a list of all existing partitions.
Select each, DELETE.
Continue on.

i would get an I/O Device Error , sorry for late reply , never saw the message.

i honestly don't know . i turned on my laptop and suddenly it would'nt boot .
