Hi all. Trying to reinstall windows 10 on a new ssd and I'm running into this issue. I tried running diskpart and cleaning the disk but that did not work. any ideas?

actually this time the error code was different : 0x80300024

Did you try using a different USB drive? it can often be the actual drive its on.

I fixed it. had to go into the bios and reset the boot order

fixed the original problem but now I'm met with a new error : Windows could not format a partition on disk 0. The error occurred while preparing the partition selected for installation. Error code: 0x80070057. any help would be appreciated.

yes I tried using a different usb and was able to resolve the problem but now I'm met with a new error : We couldn't format the selected partition. [error: 0x80070075]

Maybe try installing Windows from a DVD that might fix it
