Web browsing while playing fullscreen games?

I have 2 monitors, one is older and i would like to know if i could play fullscreen games on one and view emails(for example) on the other one.

Yes, i do. however, i find that using steams overlay while palying games to be the most efeective method, because a few of my games dont like being alt-tabbed out of

I always wondered if there was an easier way instead of hitting the Windows key in order to get out of game and switch the music. I'm referring to playing BF3.

What GPU do you have and what processor? We need to know these things to know what your PC is capable of.

easiest way would be to play the games in a full screen window on one screen and do your stuff on the other.

fullscreen games as you know tend to like to grab and hold onto mouse input.

SLI will shut off when you use windowed mode, even borderless windowed mode will shutoff SLI.

I never tried Crossfire, but I have an SLI setup and there is indeed a limitation about windowed gaming. The second card willonly kick in if the game isrunning at real fullscreen mode
