Web cam promblem

Hello,
i cant get my web cam to change to the right resolution what is wrong the resolution it ask for is what i apply but it still won't act right

What make/model of webcam are you using? Also, did you install all of the software that came with it? And, does it work okay otherwise (than the resolution)?

Please clarify.
